Douglas Manufacturing was established in 1967, when Douglas Pharmaceuticals expanded its operation beyond distribution and marketing.
What we can make
Douglas Manufacturing has state-of-the-art, GMP compliant manufacturing plants in New Zealand and Fiji. Both plants have the capacity to produce and pack:
Pharmaceuticals, Nutraceuticals, Dietary supplements, Cosmetics and Animal remedies
Fully licensed and compliant
Our manufacturing plants and laboratories are licensed by the New Zealand Ministry of Health and by MAF (New Zealand Ministry of Agriculture and Forestries) for the manufacture of both human and veterinary medicines.
EU export without re-control
The New Zealand Ministry of Health has also granted Douglas Manufacturing a mutual recognition agreement. This agreement allows Douglas to export the pharmaceutical products it manufactures in New Zealand into the European Union without the need for re-control.
